1. Agreement to Terms
This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is between you (“User,” “you”) and agentiq.biz (“agentiq.biz,” “we,” “us,” “our”) and governs your access to and use of AIM — Advising in Minutes (the “App”), a browser-based degree-audit and advising tool. By opening, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. License Grant
Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, agentiq.biz grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the App for your own personal, academic, or institutional advising purposes. This license does not grant you any ownership interest in the App.
3. Ownership
The App, including its design, code, layout, and branding, is owned by agentiq.biz and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted to you in this Agreement are reserved by agentiq.biz.
4. How the App Works
The App runs entirely in your web browser. It does not have a server-side backend and does not store your data on agentiq.biz’s systems. To parse documents and generate audits, the App sends the content you provide directly from your browser to a third-party AI provider that you select and authenticate using your own API key (for example, Google Gemini or Anthropic Claude). Use of any such provider is governed by that provider’s own terms of service and privacy policy, which are separate from this Agreement — see Section 6.
5. Your Responsibilities
- You are responsible for obtaining and safeguarding your own API key(s) and for any usage or charges incurred with your chosen AI provider.
- You are responsible for entering only appropriately de-identified or anonymized student data (see the Privacy Policy) and for complying with FERPA and any other applicable privacy laws or institutional policies that apply to you.
- You will not use the App for any unlawful purpose or in a way that violates the rights of any third party.
- You acknowledge that the App is a planning and informational aid, not an official system of record, and you agree to verify any audit results against your institution’s official degree-audit system before relying on them for registration, graduation, or academic-standing decisions.
6. Third-Party AI Services
The App is a tool that connects to AI models operated by independent third parties. agentiq.biz does not control, and is not responsible for, the availability, accuracy, security, or output of those third-party services. Any content generated by an AI model may contain errors (“hallucinations”) and should be independently verified.
7. No Warranty
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. agentiq.biz does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any audit, schedule, or other output will be accurate or complete.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, agentiq.biz SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, ACADEMIC STANDING, OR OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. agentiq.biz’s total liability for any claim arising from this Agreement or the App shall not exceed the amount, if any, you paid to agentiq.biz for use of the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
This Agreement is effective until terminated. You may stop using the App at any time. agentiq.biz may suspend or discontinue the App, in whole or in part, at any time. Because the App stores no account or server-side data, termination has no effect on any information beyond what remains in your own browser (see the Privacy Policy).
10. Changes to This Agreement
We may update this Agreement from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement.
11. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws applicable to agentiq.biz’s place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local law requires otherwise.
